Because of A Disability. . .

I am shocked that somebody wishes to end a natural fact of life. . . especially for someone who has a disability. Though I can no longer take part in the disability-rights organization in Chicago, I can still do activism here in Springfield. Who’d want to deprive anyone, especially girls with disabilities of growing up? This particular case is almost like that other “Ashley X” case, where the parents of a 9-year-old girl, deprived their child of growing bigger by stunting her growth. Though this case isn’t exactly like that case, it still makes me mad. I wish the nondisabled population would come to the realization that, although we might be different, that doesn’t mean that we wish to be cured of our physical inabilities
