Once a week, I have someone do my laundry for me. Now that I'm living at the Mary Bryant Home, I don't have to worry about trying to do my laundry myself. It would be too difficult to attempt to drag two laundry bags to and from the laundry room, plus laundry detergent. So- once a week, a nice lady does my laundry for me, and that really helps out a great deal- especially if I nearly run out of clean clothes.
Besides getting help with clothes laundry once a week, I also get help with getting my bed sheets washed once a week. One of the housekeepers, Dolly, who is very nice, is going to change my sheets once a week for me. In a way, getting this kind of help makes me feel as if I have been taken in by two new moms- here in Springfield. My clothes and sheets are clean just like they used to be when Mom did the laundry.
